Favorite Department and why: Crafts Dept. for girls and the Science Dept. for boys because they engage the mind and encourage creativity while learning.

Best part of working at Doodlehopper? The customers are great! Everyone is coming in for a happy occasion-a birthday, a holiday, a treat, a baby gift. And of course, we also get to play with toys.

Hobbies/Interests outside of work: Ceramics-I especially like doing animal sculptures in clay, Interior design, and Buddy our wonderful dog!

Year Started: 2012

Position: Owner & Store Manager

Favorite Department and why: Board Games. Many of the games we carry encourage children to learn as they play and develop social skills. And they are so much fun!

Best part of working at Doodlehopper? Learning about all the new products.

Hobbies/Interests outside of work: cooking, reading, playing with my guinea pig, crosswords, and spending time with my family.

Position: Sales Associate

Favorite Department and why: Books because we have such a good selection. It is such a nice and important activity for parents to read to their children, and most kids love it.

Best part of working at Doodlehopper? Opening new shipments. It’s like Christmas every day. Toys familiar and Toys new. Toy companies are always coming up with new ideas; I love to see what’s new.

Hobbies/Interests outside of work: I am an avid gardener; both flower and vegetable. I like a lot of color and texture in my flower beds with something always blooming. And the vegetables are just so good to eat, and more fun when you grow them yourself. I also like to read; fiction mostly and a lot of it.

Favorite Department and why: Books, because I love discovering new titles and authors. Also, because books encourage kids to use their imagination.

Hobbies/Interests outside of work: I love theatre, especially stage management and costume design. I also love taking nature walks, modding keyboards, and doing crafts.
